Garbage -- Bears?
Yes, bears are known for garbage hunting. We have bear-proof garbage cans for outdoor use.
Trails and walking paths The swimming pool is only a few steps from the cabins. Follow the ridge line sidewalk in front of the cabins (beautiful views).
"Secret Bear Trail" a small hiking trail south of Above the Clouds that connects to a wide dirt jeep trail. It goes up to the very top of Cove Mountain and intersects the trails of the Smoky Mountain National Park.
